1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ImpactVault ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App. ImpactVault is operated by Impact Labs, registered in Malaysia.

2. Description of Service

ImpactVault is a mobile application that helps professionals capture, organise, and articulate their work achievements for performance reviews, salary conversations, and career advancement. The App is available on Android and may be extended to other platforms in the future.

3. User Accounts

Some features of ImpactVault may require you to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

4. Free Trial and Subscription

ImpactVault offers a 14-day free trial with full access to available features. No credit card is required to start your trial.

After the trial period ends:

• Your vault remains readable — we will never delete or hide your logged data
• Adding new achievements and accessing Pro features requires an active subscription
• Subscriptions are billed through Google Play and are subject to Google Play's billing terms
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings

Pricing is displayed within the App and on our website at impactvault.app. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ImpactVault only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to store or transmit malicious code
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App

6. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you enter into ImpactVault, including achievements, meeting notes, and action items. By using the App, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

We will never sell, share, or use your personal career data for advertising or any purpose other than providing the ImpactVault service.

7. Data and Local Storage

During our early access period, your data is stored locally on your device. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device damage, loss, theft, or uninstallation of the App before cloud sync is available. We strongly recommend keeping your device backed up. Cloud sync will be introduced in a future update.

8. Intellectual Property

ImpactVault, its logo, design, and all associated content are the intellectual property of Impact Labs. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our express written permission.

9. Disclaimers

ImpactVault is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. We are not responsible for any career outcomes, employment decisions, or results arising from your use of the App.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Impact Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of ImpactVault, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of career opportunities.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to ImpactVault at any time if you violate these Terms of Service. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@impactvault.app. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice in the App. Your continued use of ImpactVault after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of ImpactVault will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
